Stay in the center of Seattle.       

If you are visiting Seattle for a business trip or any event that is specifically in the city of Seattle, you can stay in many hotels in the city center between the Seattle Space Needle and the Seattle Great Wheel or T-Mobile Park. Use the map function to choose the hotel you prefer on your booking site.  Read the Google and TripAdvisor reviews from the most recent guest on the hotel you chose to stay.  You will be within walking distance of nearly all the major tourist attractions in the city.  You don’t need a car.  Seattle city center is a pedestrian city and parking is mostly paid parking.  Most of the hotels in this area don’t have free parking.  There are thousands of paid parking spaces available in this area.   If you have a rental car, it’s a good idea to park in a drive-in parking spot vs parallel parking on the street to avoid damage to your car.

However, if you just need to be in Seattle for a little amount of time, it maybe better to stay in hotels in the surrounding neighborhoods.  If you are in Seattle for a one-night layover from Seattle Tacoma International Airport and want to visit the city, you can stay at hotels closer to the airport or in the surrounding neighborhoods outside the Seattle city center which tend to provide better value including cheaper nightly rates, free parking, and breakfast.  If you don’t have the capacity to drive, you should stay in the city center of Seattle so you can easily walk to everything.
